Description
Crafted from original WWII Navigator Badge wings, this sterling silver bracelet gets a modern, feminine touch with three blue-gray, hand wrapped freshwater pearls. Previously worn by individuals with advanced training and qualifications, the Navigator Badge proclaims your confidence in where you’ve been and a certainty that you will navigate all obstacles in order to reach your desired future. It is sized to fit an approximately 6.5” to 7.5” wrist and includes a delicate lobster clasp on a repurposed vintage cable chain.
The Navigator Badge was issued by the US Army Air Forces during WWII, and depicts an armillary sphere (a framework of rings that represent lines of latitude and longitude and are important to aeronautical navigation) between two wings. This badge was replaced by a newer design in 1951.
